About The Role

We are looking for a Clinical Administrator to provide administrative support to the Clinical Manager and General Manager at Kitnocks House. Being part of the administrative function of the service ensures the home operates efficiently and effectively.  

Main Duties
 
  • Maintain clinical records such as archiving and filing
  • Prepare care files for new residents
  • Provide charts as required by the Clinical & Management team
  • Complete KPI reports as required
  • Ordering clinical supplies when requested by the Clinical Manager
  • Distribute and manage the process for clinical audits to support clinical managers and nursing staff
  • Managing and allocating audits
  • Work with HR to support in sickness interviews with clinical managers
  • Manage staff rotas to ensure the service is appropriately staffed at all times.
  • Liaise with Clinical Managers in regards to skill mix when filling shifts
  • Liaise with external health professionals and clinical managers regarding medical appointments
  • Processing letters to GPs and health professionals
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of administrative processes within the team
  • General administrative duties such as filing, photocopying, stationary orders and completing relevant purchase orders
  • Ensuring compliance at all times with the Care Quality Commission (CQC)
  • To support HR and manage and coordinate supervision records with the Clinical Managers
  • To coordinate both In Person and eLearning training records to ensure training remains compliant
  • To provide support with minute taking at clinical reviews and following up on actions
  • Participate in statutory/mandatory, personal training, development, appraisal, and attend all relevant training courses as required.
  • To carry out any other reasonable and relevant duties as required. 
Essential Experience
  • 2 years minimum working as an administrator
  • 2 years experience of producing data for management reporting
  • 1 years experience within the healthcare sector
  • Expert knowledge of administrative processes
  • Microsoft Office / IT skills
  • Recognises limits of responsibilities 
  • Ability to work alone as well as part of a team and be able to form positive relationships with colleagues, residents and families
  • To be flexible and adaptable at work in order to meet competing priorities
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
Desirable Experience
  • Knowledge of the application of People Planner HR System
  • Educated to Degree Level or Equivalent experience (preferred) 
Hours of Work
 
Monday to Friday 09:00 to 17:00 (40 hours per week)

About Us

Cornerstone Healthcare Group provide specialist care for vulnerable people who present with challenging behaviours associated with complex neurodegenerative and mental health needs.

Residents who live in our homes primarily have a neurological degenerative condition such as Dementia with an underlying mental health condition which makes them unsuitable to live in dementia care homes or residential care homes for the elderly.

We currently have 4 homes based in Waterlooville, Curdridge, Mytchett & Wincanton and are in the process of building a new service in Bristol due to open in early 2025.
