Cornerstone Healthcare is looking for a passionate Housekeeping Assistant to join our award-winning team at Marula Lodge. We care to 42 residents across four units, supporting those with varying complex care. Our person-centred approach focuses on each individual’s unique challenges, not just their diagnosis. We're proud to be Rated GOOD by the CQC.

Your Working Pattern

We offer a stable, structured rota to support your work-life balance:

Monday, Thursday, Saturday & Sunday – 08:00 to 18:00
Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday – 08:00 to 18:00

10-hour shifts, averaging 35 hours per week

What You’ll Bring

A passion for maintaining exceptional standards of cleanliness and presentation
A friendly and proactive approach with the ability to build positive relationships with residents, their families, and your colleagues
Confident communication skills – both written and verbal

What You’ll Be Doing

As a valued member of our housekeeping team, you’ll play a key role in creating a clean, welcoming, and comfortable environment for our residents.
Maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the home
Cleaning and caring for all communal areas and residents’ rooms – including vacuuming, polishing, and mopping
Receive training on health and safety protocols, including the safe use of cleaning products and equipment
Ensuring all housekeeping supplies are clean, stocked, and ready for use
While you won’t be delivering hands-on care, your warm presence and attention to detail will help ensure our residents feel respected, comfortable, and uplifted throughout your time with them
