Cornerstone Healthcare is looking for experienced Housekeeper to join our award-winning team at The Burren. The Burren is a brand-new purpose-built service, location South Bristol, providing high quality care & supporting residents with varying complex neurological, mental health & dementia care needs provided in a comfortable and safe living environment. Our approach focuses on individualised care, considering the whole persons unique strengths and challenges, rather than just the diagnosis.
What do you need?
- Minimum of 12 months experience working in a Care Setting within the UK (essential)
- A commitment to provide high standards of housekeeping & laundry
- Ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with colleagues, residents, and their families
- Effective communication skills (both written and verbal)
What hours will you work?
Week A: 3 shifts
Week B: 4 shifts
Total average hours per week: 28
What will you be doing?
- Responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness within the home
- Ensure that all bed, table and kitchen linen is laundered to a satisfactory standard when required.
- You will vacuum, polish and mop floors and ensure the up-keep of all communal areas and residents’ bedrooms
- You will receive training to understand health and safety issues and the use of chemicals that we use and any equipment that you need to use
- Checking equipment is stocked, clean and ready for the next day
- Although you will not be delivering direct care to our residents, you will have a responsibility to ensure our residents are kept happy while cleaning
