We are looking for a Quality & Compliance Officer to join the quality and compliance department on a fixed-term contract (maternity cover, up to 1 year) to provide administrative support.
You will be responsible for supporting in the delivery of robust processes throughout the Cornerstone Healthcare group in order to provide assurance on quality internally and externally. You will be responsible for collecting, analysing and reporting data and working with the team to improve and monitor the quality of our service delivery.
This role includes travelling to services at times based in Hampshire, Surrey, and eventually Bristol & Birmingham.
What do you need? (Essential)
- UK driving license and access to a vehicle
- Previous experience working in the care sector
- Experience in collecting data and presenting it as part of an audit
- Knowledge of Data Protection / Confidentiality
- Knowledge of Auditing & Analysis / Presentation
- Good communication skills both verbal and written
- To be flexible and adaptable at work in order to meet competing priorities
- The ability to work as a team
- Good organisational skills
Desirable Experience
- NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social care or above
- Understanding of service delivery
- Understanding root cause analysis
- Knowledge of Quality Improvement needs
What hours will you work?
Monday to Friday 09.00 to 17.00 (40 hours per week).
What are the main duties?
- To support the Quality and Compliance Manager to ensure the audit programme throughout the company is followed.
- Ensuring action plans are in place and delivered in a timely way.
- To carry out audits in line with the company audit schedule and as directed by the Quality and Compliance Manager.
- To build links with all departments across sites.
- To liaise with Heads of Departments in the delivery of quality improvement initiatives and auditing.
- To collect, analyse and report on data for service delivery
- Undertake surveys, and research programmes as directed.
- To support teams and systems to improve and monitor the quality of service delivery.
