Cornerstone Healthcare is looking for a Bank Nurse to join our award-winning team Marula Lodge. Marula Lodge provides high quality services to 42 residents across 4 specialised units supporting residents with varying complex care as well as providing a comfortable and safe living environment. Our approach focuses on individualised care, considering the whole person and their unique challenges, rather than just the diagnosis. We are currently rated GOOD with CQC.
What do you need?
- Registered Nurse with a valid NMC pin (RMN desirable)
- Previous experience in complex care (desirable)
- Ability to work alone as well as a team and be able to form positive relationships with colleagues, residents and families
- Effective communication skills (both written and verbal)
- A caring and empathetic approach to residents and their visitors
What hours will you work?
- Day shifts: 07.45 to 20.15 (11.5-hour shift)
- Night shifts: 20.15 to 07.45 (11.5-hour shift)
What will you be doing?
- Assessing, planning and evaluating care needs or the provision of care
- Participate in clinical meetings as required and report areas of concerns to managers
- Oversee care provided by Health Care Assistants on shift
- To ensure that relevant documentation is maintained in a comprehensive manner

Due to our training programme, we would require all Bank employees to attend a 4-day induction prior to starting employment. This induction will be paid for and typically takes place Tuesday to Friday 09.30 to 16.30. If you are working another full-time role, please take this into account when applying to the position as this induction is mandatory.
